Some of us went to the graphic novel workshop on Sunday.
We were asked to work from a photograph from our own collection, and develop a storyline by drawing on small oblong bits of paper (thumbnails). We then worked out a narrative and decided on a rough page layout by arranging the thumbnails on a bigger piece of paper.
After drawing out the frames for each cell using 2H pencils, we drew in the pictures then inked over them using dip pens and black ink. The allocated four hours flew by very quickly but we all managed to get to the inking stage:
